What requirements do Ukrainian refugees need to be able to take up a job in MV?
After submitting an application under ยง 24 of the Residence Act to the competent foreigners authority, labour market access for all non-regulated professions becomes possible immediately with the issuance of a so-called fictitious certificate.
In the case of regulated professions, the regular recognition procedure must be completed beforehand, depending on the specifications in the specialised laws of the respective occupational groups. Corresponding regulations for the recognition of qualified occupational groups are currently being implemented by the respective contact institutions.
In a press release, the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Tourism and Labour of MV announced that many adults who come to MV have above-average qualifications and that the proportion of academics among Ukrainians is at least 50 per cent. -
